Hello Marillac!

Here is the latest update on our 2024 events:

  • Our virtual 7th Annual Lenten Retreat on Saturday, February 10th, 2024 was a great success. 74 alums and faculty joined our reflection and discussion around Finding Peace in Turbulent Times and continue to receive weekly reflections through the Lenten Season. Thank you to all who helped make the morning so meaningful to everyone who attended.

  • We are gearing up for another All-School Reunion / “Homecoming” on Saturday, October 5, 2024 to be held at Marillac! Mass in the Theater, lunch in the Student Center and free reign to wander the campus. This will be a great opportunity for all classes, especially those with reunion years ending in a 5 or 0, to add on a class-specific event over the reunion weekend! You will receive more information via email soon.

  • We will of course continue our annual virtual Charter Day Toy Drive for the children at Marillac St. Vincent Family Services and St. Joseph Family Services this holiday season. And we will continue to host in-person wrapping parties for the gifts we collect for those looking for a hands-on volunteer opportunity. You will receive an email in October with all the details!

All our events are run by and for our alums and we would love your involvement! Just click here to let us know you are interested and we can work with you to find something that fits your time and talents.

In the spirit of St. Louise,

The Marillac High School Alumnae Association

When we asked some of the Daughters who ministered at Marillac, “How can we give back?” they responded, “Your support for our missions in Chicago would be a wonderful and fitting legacy.” So, inspired by our education at St. Louise de Marillac High School, the alumnae are reconnecting in a united effort to fulfill that commitment.

The Daughters have two missions here in Chicago – Marillac St. Vincent Family Services and St. Joseph Services. The goal of the Marillac High School Alumnae Association is to reconnect with fellow alums, Daughters, faculty and parents to celebrate our legacy and raise money for education now and for education for the next century of service, at both organizations.
