Party With a Purpose: Class of '79

  • Armand's 101 West Campbell Street Arlington Heights, IL, 60005 United States (map)

We know this class can party, but what is the thing about a purpose?

It's more than just a party. We are gathering with a purpose to help support the educational efforts of the Daughters of Charity missions in Chicago. We are keeping this simple, there is No Charge to attend! We will provide some free light appetizers and you can take care of your own bar bill.

We are making it easy to donate as well: either online and/or we’ll pass a hat (or happy to take a check) just like we did when we were collecting for the keg of beer back in the day! And, every dollar you donate will go directly to the education programs for the children at

  • $25 … will help send kids to a summer school cultural field trip (e.g., museum of science and industry)
  • $50 …. will help cover summer camp fees for 1 kid
  • $100 … helps expand the 5th – 8th grade mentoring program
  • $250 … helps supply books to classroom.

Any donation you feel you can make will be great and even if a donation isn’t in your budget right now, we still hope you will come and reconnect because we’d love to see you!!

So call a friend and come on out and join your old classmates (haha pun intended!) at Armand’s in Arlington Heights.  The last time we got together we had about 25 women from the Class of ’79 show up.  Let’s expand our reach this time!

See you on May 4th!
